This composition is inspired by Colin McCahon's Waterfall series. The text speaks about the first Croatian newspaper in New Zealand, and calls for support from the Croatian community to make it a success.

The first Croatian newspaper in New Zealand was Bratska Sloga (Brotherly Unity), published in Auckland in May and June 1899. Edited by Antun Bulat, this fortnightly newspaper contained some English content and was intended to support the growing Croatian immigrant community, particularly those working in the kauri gum industry in Northland.
